~ Five brothers, one family tragedy, untold heartache. ~

A stray bullet ended my Army career, forcing me to follow in my father’s prison guard footsteps.
My sister’s disappearance ten years ago annihilated my family, forcing each of us to find a way to cope.
But I’ve survived. Adapted.
At least until Genevieve Stone showed up, digging into the truth in the name of journalism and finding her way deep under my skin. I’m determined to do whatever it takes to find my sister, but when the case is blown wide open by the sexy reporter, I’m left with the ultimate question . . . can I trust her?
I’m a soldier, heart and soul.
I don’t do love.
War and death and pain are my church.
My name is Asher Creed.
I am the Executioner.

***Reader note: This is the first of a 6-part emotional family saga series. Each story is 100% male first-person point-of-view, and while each full-length novel is guaranteed to have a complete HEA romance, their family mystery remains unsolved until the end of the series.

***Due to profanity, mild violence and very strong sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18. Also, please note the title. The hero is, in fact, an executioner on death row. While there is no intent to make any social or political statements, please do not read if this will be offensive to you.

My Thoughts <3

Wow, what an introduction in to a series! Y’all, make sure to have some tissues ready because this is going to be an emotional roller coaster for you! I absolutely loved this book, it is written in completely male POV and Asher Creed is a mind that you WANT to be a part of. This man is absolutely wonderful and I loved every part of it.

Asher Creed has 4 brothers and a missing sister. A missing sister that has been gone for 10 years and it has broken his family and he feels it ALL OF THE TIME. You cannot help but be immersed in this family’s pain and suffering from the writing of Shauna Allen. This is not only the start to a series in which each brother is given their own book and HEA, but you will get clues for the disappearance of their sister in each.

Asher was a military man in which that was his entire life until he was injured on duty. Now he is back home working for the prison his father used to work at as a guard and an executioner. Have you ever thought about what people feel/think when they are administering the lethal injection for criminals? I really hadn’t until I read this book.

The good news about his job? He met Genevieve, a true crime columinist that is not like typical reporters, she wants the victim’s story to be known not wrapped up in the killer. Meeting her changed his life and his perception on relationships.

Read this book, it is worth it and now I am off to book to… The Rainmaker!

PS: I received a copy of this book for free but this is my honest opinion!

The world callously moved on when my sister disappeared without a trace ten years ago.
My life—my family’s lives—froze in grief that torturous summer day.
My soul crumbled completely, a few years later, when I buried my son.
I survive the agony by hiding it neatly beneath my businessman façade and all the accolades that money can buy.
But Harper Devlin is my Achilles heel. The one who got away . . . with my broken heart.
Now she’s back and as irresistible as ever.
I shouldn’t want her. I can’t have her. But I need her.
And she needs me. I may have to conceal all my wounds just to survive being around her again, but I’m willing to do it to help her build her dreams and her business. It’s what I do. It’s what I know. I’m damn good at it.
My name is Levi Creed.
I am the Rainmaker.

***Reader note: This is the second of a 6-part emotional family saga series. Each story is 100% male first-person point-of-view, and while each full-length novel is guaranteed to have a complete HEA romance, their family mystery remains unsolved until the end of the series.

***Due to profanity and very strong sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

My Thoughts <3

This series just tugs on my heart strings so freaking much. We are introduced to The Rainmaker, Levi, in this story and this poor man has been through so freaking much.

The blurb does an excellent job describing it just know that these Creed men are absolutely the best of the best. I love how Levi needs Harper and her light in his life and the story line is absolutely excellent!

~ Five brothers, one family tragedy, untold heartache. ~

I’m big, I’m brash, I’m the enemy’s worst nightmare.
I have survived the Army, my job as a SWAT sniper, and undercover narcotics stings.
What I can’t seem to overcome is the pain inflicted upon me and my family when my baby sister disappeared off the face of the earth more than a decade ago.
A piece of my history is missing, and the only way to cope is by masking my agony behind smiles and laughter. But that’s the worst kind of lie because that demon still haunts me, and as we get closer and closer to an answer about our sister, I feel further and further away from my truth.
At least, until she stormed into my life, a whirlwind of bravado and sex-appeal.
Shiloh Grant is the truth I’ve been searching for all my life. She is the strong one. She is my hero.
But when evil comes knocking on her door, I will slay dragons and storm Hell’s gates to save her. Mark my words.
My name is Jamison Creed.
I am the Gunman.

***Reader note: This is the second of a 6-part emotional family saga series. Each story is 100% male first-person point-of-view, and while each full-length novel is guaranteed to have a complete HEA romance, their family mystery remains unsolved until the end of the series.

My Thoughts <3

We are introduced to The Gunman in this book, Jameson and the series is getting even more serious while the search for the missing Creed sister goes on. We learn just how much Jameson is not all that is shown on the outside, especially when he meets Shiloh. Shiloh is a hearing impaired teacher and she is absolutely a wonderful person and through her Jameson is able to get through some tough times.

I’ve always been the quiet one. The brother no one noticed.
When my sister disappeared, it was easy to disappear right along with her, losing myself to my own personal hell and hidden pain, unable to face a life that didn’t make sense anymore—unable to face a family that no longer felt whole.
I hunted and searched until I found my way out. Driven by my need to understand who or what took my sister from us, I learned all I could about the human brain, becoming an FBI Criminal Behavior Analyst. This is what has led me directly into the path of the monster who might hold the key to our family’s greatest pain . . . and straight back to the woman who I thought I’d never see again.
I met Tenley Cooper on a whim. One weekend of freedom. One weekend where I lost the pain that chained me down. One weekend that I lived the sweetest of lies—a lie that has come back to haunt me in the best possible way.
What does it take to bring the prodigal son home?
The truth.
My name is Joshua Creed.
I am The Prodigal.

This book absolutely broke my heart. The things that Joshua, The Prodigal, has to go through is just gut wrenching. There is a light in this story though and her name is Tenley a blast from the freaking past for Joshua.

We learn so much about this reclusive man who is basically a stranger to his family at this time. He is put in some seriously awful spots during this book, but he is a genuinely amazing man and I loved getting inside of his head. Reading these books from the male perspective is intriguing and beautiful.

I have to warn you though, make sure you have tissues handy!

~ Five brothers, one family tragedy, untold heartache. ~

I’m not the man they believe me to be. I’ve contented myself with surviving. Thriving on the blood of my sport. A mere shell of a man since my twin sister was ripped from my life more than a decade ago with no sign, no trace, no clues, and no closure. Half of my soul was torn from my body in the blink of an eye, leaving me to flail in the wind as I grapple with the brutal aftermath.
The only beacon of hope, the only light that has ever shone in my dismal world, has been Eden Montes—my sister’s best friend. The one girl I could never have, but have always wanted. She’s just as fractured as I am, a broken little bird, and yet she wants to fix me.
Me.
A man one breath away from breaking beyond repair.
Can we find our way? Even as my sister’s case finally finds closure? Will it be enough for both of us to find our way out of the darkness? Because the darkness is all I know, it’s where I live.
My name is Silas Creed.
I am The Silencer.

I straight up ugly cried during this book. I have teared up in other books, but I full on bawled in this. I received The Family Creed series for free to give an honest review and y’all it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. This series is emotional about 5 brothers that had their baby sister go missing 10 years ago and how it has effected each of them. We are finally to The Silencer, Silas, who was Claire’s twin and felt her loss so profoundly as if his soul was missing with her absense.

I will let you know that you will get a lot of answers and there are some absolutely devastating moments in this book, but it is 100% worth it.

Silas has been walking around as an angry empty shell since Claire disappeared. When he gets into an accident and needs to be ready for a fight he enlists Eden to help him. Eden was Claire’s best friend and grew up with them and he has been holding a huge torch for her but never felt that it was right. Maybe the timing is right now? But what Silas does not know is that Eden has her own demons. Will he be able to comfort her when he feels as if his life is falling apart?

10 freaking stars for this book and series. I am in awe of the world that Shauna Allen created with these brothers and this series. Reading them one by one and finding out missing pieces of the puzzle through their POV was absolutely amazing!

~ Five brothers, one family tragedy, untold heartache. ~

I am the missing piece.
The little girl lost.
The heartache that has haunted my family for over a decade—their greatest joy and their greatest pain.
Over the last ten years, I’ve lived in the memories of those I love the most, trapped in their tears, weaved into the fabric of their lives, whispering the truth to their souls.
But it’s time for me to tell my story.
It’s finally my time.
My name is Claire Creed.
I am The Dove.

***READER NOTE***

***This is the sixth and final book of this 6-part emotional family saga series. You have followed the Creed family and gotten each brother’s love story. You also finally know what happened to Claire—it’s time to hear it in her own words.

***Due to violence, graphic content, and potential triggers, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18. Please read with care.

***Also, please take note that The Dove is NOT a standalone novella. It is NOT a romance and it does NOT have a traditional happy ever after ending.

I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.

It also contains HUGE spoilers for anyone who has not already read the series. So, if you haven’t read the first five books . . .
STOP!
Do not pass Go, do not collect $200. Go do that first. I’ll wait for you here.
I promise it’s worth it.
Here they are in order:
The Executioner (Asher Creed)
The Rainmaker (Levi Creed)
The Gunman (Jamison Creed)
The Prodigal (Joshua Creed)
The Silencer (Silas Creed)
If you have read all of these, well, then you’re ready for Claire’s story.
Buckle your seatbelts, kids. It’s about to get emotional.

My Thoughts <3

Absolutely heartbreaking. In this novella we get Claire’s story and y’all it is as beautiful as it is heartbreaking. I am freaking tearing up just thinking about what I read in this short story. It gives us resolution and peace and a voice to a 15 year old girl that was taken away from her family too early.

ABSOLUTELY AN AMAZING SERIES!!!

I received this book and series for free but am honestly and voluntarily reviewing it!
