Today was a good day, my gosh did I freaking cry at the beginning of this book. Tears freaking everywhere. I am not even really that emotional of a reader but seeing that one day in the eyes of so many different people was beautiful and heartbreaking.
This book ties everything together from the first book and we get a sense of what will truly become between Pia and Davan since EJ is out of the picture. I can tell you guys this is not a freaking fairy tale, it is real life and it is hard. I loved that the author went through all of the struggles so this was not sunshine and fairy tales.
All in all, this book was a great part 2 of a duet. It answered questions and tied it up with a bow. Even though I have not read the first 3 books in the series, I never really felt like I didn’t know what was going on which I liked as well. The romance here is hot and steamy but it is also pretty freaking deep. One of my favorite parts is the POV from all of the characters even Miss Tilly! I 100% recommend you reading this book and checking out the Barber Shop Ink Series. I loved this book.
