About the Book
From the time I was a kid, I knew I wanted a job helping people. After serving in the Rifles regiment of the British Army, I focused my civilian career on becoming a bodyguard to the rich and famous. For a Cockney Brit, I never imagined a twist of fate landing me a position in the United States Secret Service and protecting the President’s son. But then my boss made an unexpected request: leave my current placement to move in with his only daughter to give an added layer of protection against the threats she had been receiving. I’d never lived with a woman who was off-limits to me. It wasn’t just that Caroline had a boyfriend. She was my best friend’s sister, and my boss’s daughter. But the longer we’re in such close quarters together, the greater the temptation grows, but I know I’ll lose everything if I pursue her.
———-
Growing up as the only girl with two overbearing older brothers, I’m no stranger to being overprotected. Just as I finished up college and prepared to truly dip my toes into the adult world, my father was elected President of the United States, which added a whole new level of protection with the Secret Service team attached to me. Just when I thought I couldn’t possibly be more smothered, I began receiving threats, and my family decided it wasn’t enough to just have an agent living down the hall from me. Nope, I was to have one move in with me, and not just any agent, but Ty Frasier—my brother, Barrett’s best friend, and my brother, Ty’s, head agent. While most women would enjoy living with a sexy, buff Brit, having a roommate threw a wrench into all my plans. Especially when I began noticing Ty was so much more than a hot guy—he was someone I could fall for.

My Thoughts <3
Caroline is the President’s daughter so is used to living the public eye, even though it is not great, she is used to having her security detail on her. She is excited because she is going to be taking over a Non-Profit started by her mom and taking on a new adventure that is all hers. Then a security issue pops up and her parents and security team decide that they need an added level of protection on her. Enter Ty.
Ty has been both of her brother’s main security and is treated like family. He is super hot, swoon worthy, lethal, and has a British accent *DROOL*.
Her parents want Ty to live with Caroline while this threat is still up in the air. I love how Caroline is not jumping at the chance even though a super hot guy would be living with her, she just wants her own space. She is not stuck up like you would like someone in her position would be and that was so refreshing.
The chemistry between these two is OFF THE CHARTS and SO HOT! I like how it is a gradual growth where they become friends first and did not just jump into anything- even though there were times I was shouting “KISS THE GIRL” in Sebastian’s voice from The Little Mermaid.
There are just a couple of issues with their growing feelings:
1. Ty is working a job and Caroline is his target. He has to put her safety about all.
2. Caroline’s father is the President of the US, not just his boss, but pretty much the boss of the entire country. The President might feel that Ty is part of the family, but would he be accepting.
3. Caroline’s brother are Ty’s best friends. They also tend to be a wee bit protective of their baby sister, which brings us to the next issue…
4. Caroline is a good bit younger than Ty and has not had time to experience the world, would she want to settle down with someone who was not even thinking about settling down before?
This book was a great installment of the series and I really enjoyed reading it.
If you want a fun and lovely read- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROOM MATE- 5 out of 5 from me!
PS: I received this book as an ARC in return for my honest feedback.
