This book was really funny, but sometimes the funny moments almost got a little too much for me, which is weird, I love RomCom. But other than that, this was a light and enjoyable read which I saw as more of a slow burn and a path to self discovery for our leading lady and our main man!
Clover has a plan with her life, legit, she even has it detailed in her binder. Things are all going to plan, she has been with her boyfriend for 6 years and things are going well, right? WRONG! Her boyfriend breaks up with her and she runs to her BFF Austin (like always) who happens to be a bit of a manwhore and a popular radio host and her entire situation ends up On Air, for EVERYONE to hear. They offer her a solution- 50 dates via Speed Dating on crack through the radio show.
This was a funny but heartfelt book that makes Clover dig deep inside and see exactly what she wants in her life, even if it doesn’t fit in the “plan”. She has loyal friends: CJ, Mallory, and Austin, a great pet (Kramer is the freaking best), and has a huge heart! I recommend reading this book because it was an extremely enjoyable read with some side splitting humor!
