Oh my gosh, I freaking loved this book! It was legit laugh out loud funny, and I could not stop laughing at certain points. Edric and Lucy are the epidemy of dry sarcastic humor and ALL the dad jokes. What I loved even more than that was the serious undertones in the story that really hit you in the feels and appreciate that special relationship that these two have.
Lucy is a bit down on her luck with the dating scene because guys just do not appreciate the full powerful force that she is. Ederic is a famous tennis player who usually dates Instagram beauties that are vapid and shallow, so his friends sign him up for a dating service to get a REAL girl. When Lucy and Ederic meet they immediately start egging each other on but are both not looking for a serious relationship but for mutual benefits they decide to fake date and thus the beautiful friendship begins.
This book is hilarious, heartfelt, beautiful, and so freaking good. I cannot speak highly enough of this read and I absolutely loved it. I have not read Haleigh Lovell before, but you can bet your britches that I will be!
