Well first things first, if you like Bully Romances, Thorn is one that you DEFINITELY should check out. This entire genre is one of my new favorite things, I have always enjoyed enemies to lovers and this takes it to a whole ‘nother level. There were things I loved about this and some things that I probably could have done with out, but in general it was a great read!

Jake Thorn is the King of Rosewood High and puts on a show for pretty much the whole school except his two best friends. They don’t understand this sudden hatred for the new girl from London and why he reacts so violently when seeing her. (To be honest, I really didn’t either. Even when the reasoning was explained it did not really click for me.) Amalie is at the lowest of the lows, not only is she a new orphan, but she has to fly across the pond to be with her Grandmother in a new place AND has to continue HS even though she would be at university if she stayed in London. She definitely was not expecting a super bad boy with an immediate dislike of her to play such a huge role in her life either, but what role will he play- tormentor or love?!?!?!

All in all if you like Bully Romances, read this book ASAP! Though the reasonings were a bit lacking to me, the rest of the story and build up and follow through are freaking great and I really liked the author’s writing style. I liked the grit of Amalie and I liked the tender side of Jake and these two have MAD chemistry! I give this book a solid 4 outta 5 and even though I felt I still had a few questions that needed to be answered, I cannot freaking wait for the next book in the series!!
