I LOVED THIS BOOK! It is loosely connected with Alice in Wonderland, but this is not your normal type of story. I enjoyed the references, but it was not super based on it. Alta Hensley, girl, this world you created is something pretty darn amazing. This is a WHOLE different type of Wonderland in which you have two very different groups vying for power, who will win? The intellectual Cyan or the ruthless Penna?
I thought the characters were strong and had legit character arcs in which I felt as if I could understand them and the story drew me in like a moth to a flame. I have always liked the Wonderland references and those just made it even better for me! Not to mention that there is some seriously HOT scenes in this book. There is a very powerful message that is hidden in this awesome story that really resonated with me as well.
All in all if you like a bit of sci-fi and enjoy Alice references, this is a MUST read for you! Add in some super steamy scenes with light submission, you got yourself a good read!
