My Thoughts <3
First off, I want to say a HUGE thank you to Piper Sheldon and Penny Reid for delivering us this awesome series in the Green Valley World. I was NOT ready to say goodbye to this awesome town when all the Winston’s had their own books, so seeing the Smartypants collection happen again in 2020 just made my FREAKING day (week, year, etc)! I have enjoyed the other series in the collection, but I really dig the backstory for The Scorned Women’s Society and Piper Sheldon has done an excellent job with it!
Now, on to the book! The Treble With Men was SO GOOD. That is beyond simplifying it, but it is knock you on your butt (or in the heart) good that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is a Phantom of the Opera retelling that fills you with suspense and emotion. The steam is a bit slow burn, but it just built the anticipation up MORE AND MORE until you were beyond ready to see something happen. I loved the story and how Sheldon was able to change up a popular story and have it applicable in this situation, I adored it!
All in all, The Treble With Men is a book that I will be rereading multiple times! It was heartfelt, suspenseful, and full of MAJOR chemistry! If you are looking for a book that rock your socks, you need to read this ASAP- 5 stars from me!
