My Thoughts
This book was like fine wine and only got better the more that you read! I have not read Jax Hart before and am thankful that I found the author because this book was a really good read.
Rafe gets what he wants and he gets it when he wants it. He has some interesting friends that are not always on the right side of the law, but he is more of a businessman than getting his hands dirty. He is a natural DOM, but has been growing a little bored with his recent experiences.
Selina is a spicy Latina that knows what she wants as well. She is kind of coasting through life at this moment but she knows what she does not want to be, a kept trophy girlfriend. That is definitely not her style.
I adore the back and forth between Rafe and Selina and how she stands up to him, even if it is a bit stupid and naive of her with the company that she is keeping. The steam between them could start freaking forest fires and the story line was extremely interesting as well!
I rate this book a solid 4 outta 5. The ending was 5/5, but it took me just a little bit to get into the flow of it. Regardless, I enjoyed the outcome and everything that went down and am looking forward to reading more!
