Blurb

My life was perfectly planned out. I did all the right things.  My eyes were always on the prize.  Working hard in college landed me the job I always wanted with security and great benefits. I dated a boy-next-door type with a solid future. We got engaged and planned the perfect wedding.  Being sensible and responsible put me on the pathway to a picture perfect life.

Everything was going off without a hitch.

And, then it all went to this sh*t!

My dream life blew up in my face like a bad firework on the 4th of July.

Since walking the straight-and-narrow was a gigantic waste of my time, I decided to walk on the wild side for a change.  Man oh man, did I get more than I bargained for. A night to remember…

And an STD.

Getting chlamydia changed my life.

Who would have thought an STD would help me pick up the pieces of my shattered life?

Certainly not me.

So, thank you, chlamydia.

My Thoughts <3

I loved everything about this book! From the name, the cover, the blurb to the characters, the story line and the comedy! I will admit that I have never read a romance novel that includes the name of an STD in the subject line, but to be honest, that is one of the first things that drew my interest to check it out! I thought it was quirky and knew that this book might be my kinda thing!

I really liked the characters for one thing I totally share the same name as the leading lady, so OBVI I loved that. For another, Danielle really is freaking hilarious. This lady was basically left out to sea with what her fiance did for her, but I found myself relating to her in most situations (only a couple, I was like girl, you crazy!) and connected immediate to her character. Ryan, our main man, is freaking AMAZING! I adored this guy and even when I thought he was making some dumb decisions, I still got it, it did make sense in a SUPER weird way.

All in all, I loved the title and the characters and the story. I thought Thank you, Chlamydia was downright HILARIOUS and relatable and just so freaking good. I give it a 4.5 outta 5, don’t let the name scare you away- this book is great!!

Thank you to KA Berg and Give Me Books PR for allowing me a chance to read and review an advanced copy of the book honestly!
