My Thoughts <3
Words cannot describe just how giddy I was to have this book hit my kindle. I have been waiting for Alexei’s book for what seems like forever. This enigma of a man who loves as fiercely as he is brutal and plays matchmaker on the side is honestly amazing. I have been falling for him since Tristan’s book- Sinful Heir- and Tears of Salvation was over and beyond what I could have hoped for! On the flip side, Isabella Terrero, the Princess of Terror, has been mentioned since the first book of the series, Merciless Saints, but not much was known about her… until now.
I won’t go into details, but these two are freaking fire with each other, both extremely intelligent and don’t take no for an answer. It is a battle of wills and wits, but could they have a common enemy to unite them? Everything about this book draws me and didn’t let me go until the last page. It was masterfully delivered with characters that you cannot help but be in awe of. It is like every book in the Saint Monarch’s Academy series lead up to this and IT WAS AMAZING!!!
All in all, I enjoyed all of the books in the Saint Monarch’s Academy series, but this one blew it out of the park. Absolutely amazing and if you cannot tell by now, I give this 5 HUGE STARS and recommend it to anyone that likes things a little on the darker side. Straight up combustible!
