Blurb
Maybe there’s one of us in every family.
The guy who scorns all the rules.
The guy who shuns expectations.
The guy most commonly known as the ultimate villain in a cultish self help movement.
On the other hand, perhaps we’re not as common as I thought.
But so what if I’m never anyone’s hero?
At least I’m a good brother. That is the one thing I manage to get right. So when my big sister is abandoned by her prick of a husband, leaving her and her four kids alone a week before Christmas, I don’t hesitate to head home.
To my surprise, I’m not the only one who shows up.
Katrina has always been my sister’s best friend. She’s headstrong and hot. She’s neurotic and sexy. She belts out old power ballads with horrible, tuneless abandon and her hair always smells like vanilla cookie batter.
We have a long history of being at odds and she’s never appreciated my natural talent for getting under her skin.
And then there was the time when we accidentally got naked together…
There might have been some post-wedding horniness involved.
Combined with antique furniture abuse.
Along with a creative application of lemon buttercream.
It’s kind of a forbidden topic.
Now, nearly a decade later, it’s possible I’m still using that memory to get off once or twice or twelve times a month.
Katrina never knew that back in the day she was the one girl who really got to me.
In the spirit of the holidays I’ve decided it’s time to settle the score.
She already thinks I’m not one of the good guys.
She also realizes I’ve got something she wants for Christmas.
All she has to do is swallow her high maintenance pride and ask nicely.
I can guarantee she’ll get more than she ever bargained for…
*SYLER MCKNIGHT is a complete stand alone with:
· Small town quirkiness
· Enemies to Lovers (with majorly hot hate sex)

My Thoughts <3
It’s the holidays and Syler and Katrina both are both in huge slumps, but a common denominator needs their help and bring them together for Christmas. When two people that cannot stand each other, but have so much freaking chemistry get together, anything can happen, right?!?!
I love the situations and relationships that are shown in this book. Of course it is a romance story, but the other character relationships mean just as much. It shows that life is not easy, but it can be special and rewarding, you just have to find YOUR RIGHT WAY! 5 stars from me and I really hope that the author continues on with more from these characters!
PS: A huge thanks to Cora Brent and Give Me Books PR for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review!
Author Bio
Cora Brent was born in a cold climate and escaped as soon as it was legally possible. Now, she lives in the desert with her husband, two kids and a prickly pear cactus she has affectionately named ‘Spot’. Cora’s closet is filled with boxes of unfinished stories that date back her 1980’s childhood and all her life she has dreamed of being an author. Amazingly, she is now a New York Times and USA Today bestselling writer of contemporary romance and begs not to be awakened from this dream.
