| I liked this book and I think that Georgia Coffman had the right amount of engagement throughout the book to keep my interest. That being said, I really had difficulty connecting with our leading lady-Kendall, she just seemed so fake to me and I started warming up towards her at the end, but it took a WHILE. Now, Sebastian stole the show for me. I freaking adored everything about him from the beginning and connected with his character RIGHT away. He was one of the main reasons that I adored this book. Just know that he is not perfect, not even freaking close, but I liked how real he was and he felt just a bit more genuine than Kendall. All in all, I liked the book and connected more so with one of the characters than both, BUT I am also VERY much so looking forward to the next book in the series because Georgia set that book up so perfectly, I cannot help but be intrigued by it! All in all this was a 4 outta 5 stars for me and intrigued for what is next! PS: Thank you to Georgia and Wildfire Marketing for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review! |
