I absolutely loved everything about this book! It was a bully romance-ish, but our bully being a hard as nails beautiful lady made things a bit different. As hard as she is, her love for her family was even more so.
Cerulean had a unique childhood which hardened her outlook and made it so that it was her and her sisters and that was it. The “Hued Hussies” gah, I laughed out loud at that name, is the name for her and her sisters since they all share interesting color names. She does not need anyone and is basically the matriarch for her sisters even though she is not the oldest. All of this changes with Harley, the new QB1, comes into town and decides that he wants her.
This book was freaking perfect. It showed a realness to the characters that you do not always get to see. Megan Lowe did a freaking fantastic job setting up the series and also Cerulean’s personality. I adored how everything played out as well and am looking for me. If you like strong women, sweet but cocky main men, and a fantastic story line set in the heart of the South– you need to read this book asap!!
