| I love returning to the Green Valley World, Penny Reid created something extremely special and I love seeing other authors take it for a spin and seeing this wonderful place through the eyes of others. Seriously- Smartypants Romance was the best idea… ever! That being said, I was a little hesitant going into this book. Not only have we heard about Drill (Maddy’s brother) in previous books as being a member of the Iron Wraiths, but I am also not a huge fan of 3rd person books. Well Cathy Yardley quickly took care of those two issues for me. We not only got into Drill’s head but she did an excellent job of still showcasing all of the emotions even withing being first person. This book was more serious than the other Smartypants romances I have read, but it was extremely special. Thuy is a wonderful heroine that I connected to right away. She is super strong and when her story comes out it call becomes clear. All in all, whether you are a fan of this world or this is your first book, I highly recommend you checking this out. It is not your typical MC read, though there are few scenes and mentions that might be upsetting to some. I am definitely a fan of the book and give it a solid 4.5 outta 5 and recommend you checking it out ASAP!
