My Thoughts <3
| First, I would like to say that I did like the first book in the duet a bit more, but I still REALLY liked Pawn and how everything turned out. In true TM Frazier fashion, it is dark with humor thrown in at the most random times, but is a lot more serious than Pike. We get more insight into the characters and let me tell you that there are some crazy twists and turns all the way up to the end. The Pawn Duet fits perfectly into the world that the author created with our favorite secondary characters included. I have to admit that Preppy will always be my favorite, but Pike is pretty awesome and he really seems to find himself in this book. Mickey is extremely analytical and seeing her thoughts and getting in her head was fascinating. It is not a traditional love story, but what book in this world has been? Even more so while they are dealing with the Fourth Reich and revenge. All in all, I give Pawn 4 outta 5 and then entire series 4.5 stars!
