I really liked Donna in the first book of this series and was definitely wanting to get some more backstory for her. Like You Hurt not only delves deep into her mind, but also the main man- Hendrix- and it is SO GOOD!!! My gosh, I freaking loved this book. You never know what is going on behind the curtains with people and this is definitely an example of this. Just because someone leads a “charmed” life does not mean that things are all sunshine and roses.
All in all, I freaking adored this book! Donna and Hendrix are two enemies that REALLY do not like each other, but are still drawn to them. Watching how everything unfolds was extremely gratifying and SO GOOD! I loved the steamy parts but I liked the heartfelt ones as well, this is a tight group and I really can’t wait to get even more from these awesome characters. I give this 4.5 outta 5 stars and am eager to get more from this world and author!
