I am hopping into this series smack dab in the middle of it, and I can tell you that I am DEFINITELY going to go back to the beginning to read this. This MC is nothing like you have read before, but in a delicious way! These are all prominent members of society that belong to an MC to make the town better but the club members still have a bit of darkness in them.
Castiel and Turner are a great enemies-to-lovers read in which these two literally could not stand each other. Preconceived notions mixed with outstanding chemistry had these two hating each other but so freaking drawn to each other as well.
Castiel is a member of the police department and is pretty freaking law abiding, and dislikes speeders. Turner is the daughter of a professional race car driver and grew up on the field. She has money in a trust, but she is not able to touch it until she is a certain age, so mostly everything she has she has earned the old fashioned way. Castiel has been burned by “rich girls” before and definitely judges Turner before getting to know her, because he “knows her type”.
These two have both been put through the ringer in many different shapes and fashions and it is heart wreching to hear their stories and you just want to reach through the pages and hug them both.
This is not insta-love, but it is fairly fast understanding. I absolutely adored the two of them and Castiel is totally my new book boyfriend. He is the perfect mix of jaded and great guy mixed together that he can admit when he is wrong as well. These two find comfort in each other, but that does not make everything ok. There are so many twists and turns to navigate that it is an absolutely amazing read!
5 outta 5 stars, you need to read this book and I look forward to reading the ones before and the ones after!
