Oakley and Pace’s story is freaking everything! I absolutely loved these characters and their heartfelt story and challenges that they overcome!
Pace has been through a freaking lot. The story starts with showing him and his buddies being deployed and then showcases him going through one of the biggest things to happen to him- loosing his legs (and a buddy) in an explosion. FF a few years later and we are seeing that this guy is determined and he is not going to give up just because of this. He sees one of his buddies’ Facebook in which his sister, Oakley, needs a new kidney yesterday. He knows that he has the same blood type as his brother and decides to see if he is a match and he is. Oakley can hardly believe this man would do this for her and he happens to be SUPER hot and sweet and pretty darn close to perfect.
Read this story to see one of the most heartfelt books that I have read in a while. Their journey is not easy but it is filled with lust, romance, suspense, and just pure goodness. I absolutely love Lani Lynn Vale’s stories and this one is 5 stars completely!!
