This book was pure poetry! The words and story are written in such a way that I was swept up and utterly consumed from the very beginning. For some reason I thought it was going to be a little more lighthearted than what it was, but it was intense in all of the best ways. I loved the story and the connection between Jo and Tristan. These two have a complicated history and it was just heartbreaking to read about all of it. I don’t want to go into too many details because I loved going into it blind (other than the blurb) and seeing how everything unfolded. It was heart wrenchingly beautiful and the connection between the two is undeniable but with the weight of the world between them. I highly recommend that you read this ASAP!
