Holy smokes this book will absolutely GUT you! Erica Marselas delivers a powerful story in the form of June and Alex and it is full of heartbreak and tragedy and I couldn’t put it down. I experienced all of the feels and felt as if I was right there with the characters in the story. It was a little frustrating because I just wanted things to work out as soon as possible, but that does not always happen, and I am honestly glad that it didn’t when I finished the book- it was done in the BEST possible way!
All in all this book was heartbreaking, beautiful, and full of misconceptions. When June is put in an impossible decision, she goes through it with grace and is a pretty freaking awesome person. Her Reluctant Husband is one that you need in your life ASAP, just prepared to ugly cry in certain parts, but don’t worry there are also some super steamy moments too! I give it 4.5 outta 5 stars and HIGHLY recommend it!
