My Thoughts <3
This man, oh my freaking goodness I have a lady boner for Chance. He is one of the most amazing men that I have read about and I have read A LOT OF BOOKS. He is a little broken, but he still has his principles that he lives by and boy does he. Cassidy might not seem like it, but she is definitely the perfect person to help bring him back to the person who he was.
Chance left his family and became a Navy Seal. In a purely horrific moment he is put to the test when he has to make a decision, one that will haunt him for the rest of his life. It broke my heart to read about what this does to him. Cassidy is on the run. Beaten down by the people that should be there for her, she does not spend too much time in one place in fear of being found. When everything hits the fan Chance finds out Cassidy is not safe and steps in to help, because he is just that freaking good of a man.
I loved everything about this. We have the brutal but fair way of the MC life, two people that are broken but not out that have a LOAD of sexual tension, and an amazing story. 2 thumbs up from me and if you liked the rest of the books in the series than you were looking forward to this book as much as I was and trust me, it is totally worth the wait!
