Aleatha Romig is absolutely amazing at weaving an intricate story and giving readers just enough information to be appeased but also curious for the next book! In Flame, the second Web of Desire book, we are given answers to the jaw dropping cliffhanger in the first book, but then also left with even more questions at the end of the book.
We are taken for a bit of a history lession through Maddie’s life and how she got where she was as well as the action-packed current narrative and how they are going to save their family. This book is action packed and I feel as if I have been on a roller coaster at the end of it. Though with this new cliffhanger, I cannot tell if I am at the beginning of the ride or the middle or the end. Great job to Aleatha for keeping readers intrigued and answering just enough questions to make us feel as if we are in the know. 5 stars from me, now when is the next book coming?!?!
