He tasted like man. Like bourbon. Like pleasure. Finally. Finally. I slid my hands under his jacket and let him open my mouth. Incredibly, with the desire that was drenching both of us, he teased me, running his tongue along the inside of my lip, letting his teeth scrape my skin. His fingers pushed into my hair, his thumbs pressing just below my ears, the heat of his body radiating to mine. I ran my hands down his chest, his perfect stomach. God, he was so gorgeous.
He broke away, not moving far from my mouth. “You didn’t say yes,” he said.
I moved my hand further down, slid my fingers beneath his belt. “Yes,” I said.
His body tensed under my touch, his muscles flexing in surprise. I paused my hand. “You’re very forward,” he said.
“Do you object?”
In answer he leaned down and kissed the side of my neck, letting his teeth scrape the sensitive skin. I let out a breath and my eyes closed in bliss. Every nerve ending in my body was on fire.
“I think I can make you a little more obedient,” he said in my ear.

| I really freaking liked this and give it a 4.5 outta 5, leaning more towards the 5! This is not your typical Boss/Assistant read and I loved how Julie Kriss had everything unfold. To me, everything flowed organically and there was a strong plot and a path towards the end! Samantha is the assistant to for Aidan, the Man in Black, who doesn’t seem to ever be photographed in anything but black. After 9 years working in the executive assistant world, she knows that she has hit the motherload by working under Aidan, not only is he extremely fair, but he also values her. What she wasn’t expecting is for how handsome he is and how much it affects her and how much she wishes she was just a stranger sometime…. All in all, great freaking book Julie Kriss! Filthy Rich showcases that just because you put up a mask, that doesn’t mean that little pieces don’t seep out or seep in! The chemistry was off the charts, but also so was how real the characters acted- that was one of my favorite things about the book! I am expecting that the other books in the series are about the other 3 partners and I am freaking exciting to have them come out too!
