Harmony and Bates are two freaking peas in a pod in a brutal romantic type of way. Both growing up in not ideal ways and their stories will break your heart. This blurb totally drew me in by promising an interesting dark romance and HR Owen did not disappoint. The characters don’t care about what others think and that makes them perfect for each other, but Bates broke Harmony’s heart, will he be able to convince her he is only for her?
All in all, if you like books a bit more on the darker side and more of an MC read, this is definitely your type of book and kept my attention throughout the whole story.
