Everyone knows appearances can be deceiving, and in my case, even I’ve been fooled.
The last thing I need is immature man-child, Alexander Bennet, trying to smile his way into my pants. I hate everything about him; his stupid smirk, his rumbling chuckle, and the way butterflies riot in my stomach when he aims them at me. Our sparring matches go from maddening to stimulating and suddenly my mind and body are at war.
Unfortunately for me, my life is nothing but lies. Twisted secrets keep throwing us together then pulling us apart as we try to unravel it.
Will the one person I want nothing to do with, be my salvation? Or are we doomed to tear each other apart?

My Thoughts <3
Curves Ahead was everything that I was hoping for and more. I knew that it was going to be a bit on the darker side, but I had no clue. Andi Jaxon delivers a powerful story that makes you feel exactly what the characters are feeling and can put yourself in their shoes, which for the subject matter is a little terrifying.
No spoilers, but Alex and Kristen hate each other. He sees her as an uptight spoiled little rich girl and she sees him as a playboy that is always laughing and takes nothing seriously. When they are thrust together by their friend groups, can they discover that there is even more there? Or will they just find that a lot of secrets are about to be coming into the open and ruin the fragile facade of their lives?
All in all, this book was pretty heavy but Jaxon includes some much needed comedic/dry sarcasm moments perfectly to take away from the rising tension in the book. I highly recommend reading this book if you are not affected by certain triggers and like things a little dark! 5 stars from me!
PS: Thank you to Andi Jaxon and Enticing Journey Book Promotions for allowing me an ARC to voluntarily read and review honestly!
About The Author:
From Dyslexic kid with a love of Algebra to a published author, no one is more surprised to find me here, than I am. I love to write about tortured pasts and hot sex, a happily ever after that has to be worked for. My stories tend to be a little dark but with some comic relief, typically in the form of sarcasm.
