Wow, this book took turns that I was not expecting after seeing the blurb. I always like this type of book, but JD Hollyfield put a spin on it that was completely unexpected, but definitely welcomed!
We have a leading lady that is all grown up and wants her longtime crush and brother’s best friend to notice her, she gets that chance, but it is their fiery chemistry enough to build something on? What about all of the outside factors?!? You need to read to see, and boy should you!
All in all this was an interesting book that though it took me a little to get into it, once it did, I was ALL in! Not only was it full of fun moments, but it was stock full of sweet, funny, and even a little suspense thrown in there. The characters, primary and secondary, were relatable and I really liked their interactions. I recommend checking it out and give it a 4.5 outta 5 stars. Read this book if you are looking for something a little different and if it does not immediately click for you, give it just a little time!
