I am a HUGE fan of Jaine Diamond’s Dirtyverse series. I loved how all of the characters were interconnected, and though I was initially worried about this new series focusing on new characters, I should have known I had nothing to worry about! You don’t have to read the other books in the Dirtyverse series, but I highly recommend you check them out first since they are still interconnected. I LOVED Charming Deception and am thrilled to be introduced to a whole new cast of characters.

Let me start by saying that the Vance family is a whole vibe in itself. The siblings are so different from each other, but it’s clear that family means a lot to them. Now, on to Jamison—he comes off as a complete playboy, but the reality is that he is just so SWOON. This guy is loyal, amazing, and gives off major alpha vibes. I love fake engagement books because they are always so much fun with their crazy chemistry, but Jamison and Megan are on a whole other level when they become engaged to help clean up his image. Not only does our main man have a great heart, but Megan is just lovely! She is incredibly relatable, has a fiery spirit, and is not afraid to speak up for herself. Their chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS, and while there is a huge wrench thrown into everything, I loved seeing how everything plays out through MANY ups and downs along the way.

All in all, you need this book in your life. I recommend you read this ASAP, and I can’t wait to get the next one in my hands!
