If Patton Fletcher is the devil- sign me up to follow him! Tia Louise delivered an emotional gut punch with this book and it was amazing! Talk about the uptight CEO and the feisty coworker kind of romance. I was 100% behind this book after reading the blurb and actually reading it made it so much better!
Raquel is driven, smart, and pretty. She wants to do well in her new role and one main piece of advice that her sister gives her for the job- don’t fall for Patton Fletcher, he is a devil. Seems like such a small thing and it would be a given and easy not to do right? Until she meets the man and oh freaking geez, he is like a god!
Patton Fletcher has his share of demons, the way the book starts off tells you about a little of them and also his close bond with his buddies. It was absolutely crucial in terms of set up and give you an idea about what this man faces. He typically shows a cool outside appearance but something about the fiery employee just hired gets under his skin…. but what does that mean for him?
This book is so much more than it seems. The relationships, the humor, and the story line was mesmerizing and you cannot help but become invested in it. I not only figured out more about Raquel and Patton, but also Taron and Marley — who I DEFINITELY want to know more about!
All in all this book has it all, a deep back story that draws you in, likeable and real characters, and humor to help with all of the heavy moments. Tia Louise is always an author I enjoy reading, but Boss of Me is absolutely one that I recommend you reading right away!
