I have not read the beginning of this series, but I am a huge Hayley Faiman fan with her MC series. I did not feel as if I was missing out on information because of this, until the end of the book and it was like information overload with how much is going on. That being said, the book was EXACTLY like the blurb promises, so make sure you read that first if you are not a fan of reading about infidelity, which normally does not bother me.

Arlo is loyal to a fault, the Famiglia is everything to him and he will make sure that he stands by his word, even if he is marrying a freaking shrew and betraying the one he actually wants to be with, Lenora. She is sweet and the opposite of what he stands for, but he is drawn to her light. She might be sweet and bit naive, but she has a strong backbone and you can’t help but like the girl.

There is a LOT going on in this book and like I mentioned earlier, the end is information overload, but I like the overlap between other series and how the worlds go together. This is not an easy book, the title and blurb make that clear, but it is entertaining and the characters are engaging. If you like the blurb and title, please read this book- you will enjoy it! If you have read the 1st book than even better!
