My Thoughts <3
A second chance romance that will have you believing in soul mates!
From reading the blurb, you can tell that this will be an intense book full of a lot of emotions, and boy was it. I was intrigued from the very beginning with wanting to know exactly how it was going to play out and had quite a few twists and turns. I liked the characters and the story, but there was a LOT going on in this book which was the reason for it not being 5 stars for me.
I had not read the previous books in the series since I believed that this was a standalone, but I recommend checking them out before reading Baller. They were mentioned a LOT in the story and while I totally see that it would make the book better for those that have read the series, it leaves a giant question mark for those that hadn’t (such as me).
But the overall story was incredibly good, even though there were a few EXTREMELY frustrating times with the characters, I enjoyed reading it and do want to go back to the previous books and read them! All in all, it was a good story with a good subject line, but recommend reading it after the other 4 books in the series. I give it 4 outta 5 stars!
