Blurb

It wasn’t meant to be this way—she shouldn’t have fallen for my brother and left me for him.

But she did.

And now I’m left to pick up the pieces of my shattered, broken heart. And to top it off, they want me to come to their wedding.
Do they think I’m a pushover?
Do they think of me as a joke?

The old saying stands true,
‘why have enemies when you can have family.’

I understand it now, better than I ever have in my life.

There’s one unexpected surprise though, Storm.
She blew in just like one and makes the pain diminish.
She’s exactly as her name describes her—she is a storm.
A beautiful and powerful one.

But not all things are meant to last.
Like a storm that wreaks havoc, some things cause anguish, and in my life she may very well be one of them.

My Thoughts <3

This book seemed to be over before I even knew it!

Nonetheless, this book is definitely worth the read!

The story starts off with Echo finding out that his ex-girlfriend that he was with for years is marrying his brother and all of his family acts as if HE is the problem.
Then we meet Storm and then it starts getting good!

Characters:
Echo: He is a super hot alpha male that just got his heart broken, pride stunned, and was broken a little by his ex and his family. That made me want to freaking cry for him because his family is pretty awful. The good news though is that he has a very close group of friends that are basically his brothers that try to keep him afloat.
Storm: She is a high ranking editor for an super successful magazine. She is extremely lonely though and her best friend does not live in town, though she is extremely supportive and I loved their relationship! Storm does not have time for anything serious since she is extremely busy- basically her work is her live!

Plot:
So, quick side note, I really enjoy stories where one MC meets the other right after having their ex cheat on them or break their heart so they can appreciate how much the other MC means to them.
Usually it is with a lady, but man on man did I like this take! I liked how the plot rolled and everything seemed to be moving pretty smoothly.

Steam:
SO FREAKING MUCH! Seriously the chemistry between Echo and Storm should be illegal, great job to TL Smith for capturing that so smoothly!

All in All:
This book was a great read! I loved the steam and the characters. I have not read the first book so I got a jist of what Echo does, but I was still a little bit confused with the underlying hints that there was more to it. Either way, still a great read and I recommend it!

4.5 outta 5 from me!

PS: I received this book as an ARC in return for my honest opinion.
