WOWZERSS! Jeana E. Mann definitely brought her A-game with Absolute Power, it is definitely a great start to a Duet. It will draw you into the story and have you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what is going to happen next, and with it being a duet, there is a cliffy, which will DEFINITELY get your attention!

I LOVED the story! I thought that the author did a great job setting up the plot and making sure that the reader would be engaged. The characters are multi-dimensional and Cash Delacorte is hot, hot, HOT! Jagger is our leading lady and there is a LOT more to her than what is shown, or at least for someone who has not read other books with these characters *raises hand*, like me. I actually liked not knowing what is going down before reading though because it made the book even more interesting and kept me intrigued.

Cash and Jagger have some MAJOR steamy scenes and you can practically feel the attraction while reading them, but I would have liked a little more emotional connection between them. Since this is a duet, I am hoping to see more of that in the next book. But all in all, I really dug this book and give it 4 outta 5 stars and I am definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next!
