This book is freaking epic. Have you ever read a dark romance and then wonder what in the world you would do in their situations? It really makes you wonder what YOU would do and how you would react.
We were introduced to Luca and Gretchen in the first book in which Lucas is Dom’s brother and Gretchen is Drew’s best friend. In that book we saw Lucas being almost beaten to death and his wife refused to come and check on him and even call the lawyers to see what that would mean for her and her future and not Luca’s life. The biggest thing that Dom stressed in Truth was how he kept trying to keep Luca out of the mafia life. We find out in the 2nd book that this is NOT the case. Luca is a lot darker than we thought.
Luca and Gretchen want each other but he refuses to divorce his wife for his own reasons, so what does that mean for Gretchen. They would both be committing adultery, even if it is not a real marriage.
Please, please, please read this book! I thought Dom was my favorite until I read Luca. This man was dark, unforgiving, and as much of a killer as his brother and even with the taboo nature of their relationship, I have never seen devotion and love as much as I have with Luca and Gretchen. You have to see how this all plays out!!
