Scarlette has been given the REALLY short end of the stick the past few months. She lost her job, her boyfriend cheated on her, and her grandmother has taken a turn for the worse. She had been planning on taking a trip to Ireland with her grandmother, but after she had her stroke, she knew she needed a change of scenery STAT. This poor girl, literally everything that could go wrong at the beginning of the story, did.
Enter Braeden FREAKING McLoughlin. Sexy, Swoon Worthy, Protective… and her friend’s Ex. Which is a huge no no according to girl code especially when her friend said that he was a womanizer and it did not end well. But he makes it pretty hard to resist as he literally sweeps her off her feet- in a crazy fling- just for while they are in Ireland.
I really enjoyed this book. There are a few things that don’t really make sense with the story, but it was a great light romance read if you do not look too much into it! I give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars and I will be reading the second one and continuing on with Book 2 of The McLoughlin Brothers Series!
