Would you do something wrong for a chance at love?

Lovely readers, this is a legit question and not one that you can take lightly. A lot of people will do ANYTHING and I mean anything for love, or at least their version of love. Don’t worry this post and book is NOTHING about fatal attraction! It is just interesting to think about. How far would you go when you love someone?

Regardless, In Too Deep is the 2nd installment of the Doing Bad Things series by Jordan Marie. I read the first book Going Down Hard and REALLY enjoyed it, so I continued on with this book, and I am soooo glad that I did.

I give this book 4.2 out of 5 stars, read why below!

I did a really bad thing.
I’m not a bad person, I swear.
I just made a few mistakes.

Mistake number one was agreeing to rent my hotel out to an insufferable a**hole, named Aden Smith.

Mistake number two was ignoring his threats to sue me when he handed over a list of items he deemed “unacceptable”.

Mistake number three was saving his life when he fell. It would have been less complicated to hide his body.

When the hospital refuses to let me know how he is, I panic. Claiming to be his wife might be my biggest mistake yet—especially when he believes me!

My Thoughts <3

What a crazy situation to be in, am I right?? This book was all kinds of crazy in all honesty.

Hope is a single mother trying to make due basically living on nothing. She inherits a motel and invests what meager savings she has all in to it. You can see that the world has pretty much been throwing her bad things after bad things towards her and the only good thing is her family (which is not around until the end of the book) and her sweet little boy.

Aden is a HUGE @sshole to her. That is not his normal personality, but somehow being around Hope just brings it out of him. He was not the bad boy that you want to tame, no, he was seriously the WORST! He has reasons for why he is acting like that, because he has been used pretty much by every woman in his life, but still it wouldn’t kill him to be a little friendly. He was the one that barged in to the hotel AFTER Hope said that it was not open yet, so he can not realistically expect everything to be perfect. Then you remember he is Aden and a HUGE movie star so it makes sense that everyone should abide by his standards.

Isn’t it crazy how little things that are so innocent are not issues, until you combine them together and it is a huge mess? I always just wish in movies and in books that the leading couple just TALK to each other!

Anywho, Hope and Aden get along as well as oil and water but boy do they have chemistry, even though neither of them will admit it out loud. Once Aden develops amnesia poor Hope only goes along with being his “wife” because she is deathly afraid he will sue her and the motel is the only financial stability that she has for her and her son. It makes sense, for the first hour or perhaps day. What is kinda crappy is going along with it for longer than that.

Hope has this issue where she cannot lie for sh!t. It totally spirals into something absolutely horrible. When Aden wants to know more about himself in his “I can’t remember” state she basically states he was a really crappy husband. The verbal diarrhea that came out of her mouth is hilarious, but just confuses Aden more about who he is. The only person he has to tell him more about himself is his “wife” who doesn’t actually know his true self. You know how you read in books that you are supposed to remind people of their life to trigger memories, well they did not have that many memories together other than one- *wink, wink*.

Want to know how it all ends and all of the funniness and craziness in between, read the book now!!! You get to see all of your favorite characters from the first book as well.

Did I enjoy this book? Yes I did, so you should check it out too!
