Blurb

Everyone knows the stories about naïve girls being taken by beautiful monsters.

Often the monster is a tortured soul with a fucked up past, but even then, that monster is redeemable.

This is not one of those stories.

My monster revels in the carnage he creates.

Our story is not one where good prevails and the villain becomes a hero.

My reality is dark.

His demons are darker.

And though I love my monster, this is no fairytale.

There is no happily ever after.

Dark, Dark, Dark!!

Y’all this is NOT a typical love story so definitely let that be known before you read it. That being said, it is freaking captivating and will hold your attention all the way through. The characters are freaking unreal, who know that you fall in love with a monster.

There are some freaking crazy themes in here, but just know that if you like things on the super twisted and dark side, you will be enthralled with this book just as I was! Morgana and Julian’s love is not traditional in the slightest but love and obsession go hand and hand, right? Loved the ending and how it all played out!

PS: I received this book as an ARC but am voluntarily and honestly reviewing it.

Blurb

Love is a tragedy designed for two.

What would you endure to see it through?

I was nothing.

He was both madness and paradise.

I was innocent.

He was twisted, harboring sadistic secrets.

I was a malignant obsession.

Now I am his most prized possession.

My Thoughts <3

Have you ever read a book and question your morality afterwards? It has happened to me a few times, but after reading this, just my freaking goodness. Natalie Bennett does NOT pull punches and this book is DARK (LIKE REALLY DARK) and twisted but how she allows us into the minds of her characters to understand how they feel and why they feel that way is freaking amazing.

This book to me was better than the first in the series- Macabre. We are getting more of a glimpse into the character’s lives and not just what they are thinking now, but really into the WHY of it. (I have a degree in Psychology and of course I always want the why!). Mason was extremely likable and if you take away his extracurricular activities he is a pretty sane and sweet man that is extremely loyal.

If you like darkly delicious reads that make you wonder if there is something wrong with you for being so enthralled by the whys and the steam in the book, this is definitely a book for you to check out!

PS: I received this book as an ARC but am voluntarily and honestly reviewing it.

About The Author:

Natalie Bennett is the creator of erotic stories that always come with a warning label. She writes about depraved alpha a**holes and women that love to hate them. Her books don’t follow any specific tropes, have no set word counts, and tend to deviate from traditional HEA’s.

When she isn’t in front of her computer she’s spending time with her husband and their three little boys.

Natalie is an avid fan of caramel frappes, horror movies, Shameless, and of course, reading.
