What a freaking whirlwind of a read! I have read a few of the Satan’s Sinners book, but not all of them to be caught up to date. I love that with Colbie Kay I did not have to be completely up to date and was mixed in with characters that I was familiar with but also a few that I was not. Good news, I did not feel as if I missed anything crucial from the story line by not reading all of the books to date- so bravo to the author of that! It is always a fine line of making sure things make sense but also mixing with the other stories and that was done perfectly!
Now on to Tink and Jorga’s story, it broke my heart for BOTH of these characters. Though they knew each other in HS, both characters are completely different now after going through their own traumatic encounters. Neither can stand being touched, but with their connection, can they get past it?
This book had waves of jaw dropping moments and it was great to see Tink and Jorga not only overcome their issues but also grow as people. I think Colbie Kay did a great job with this one. If you like the Satan’s Sinners series as well as like MC romances, this is a book you should definitely read! The pace was fast but just right and there were a few moments that made me cry, make me laugh, made my heart hurt, but also made my heart so happy- I thoroughly enjoyed it and give it a 4.5 outta 5!
