My Thoughts <3
I am completely digging this series about Hades and Persephone that has a bit of a spin on it from the version that we all know and love. This definitely dives into the dark side of things, but I absolutely love it! This book shows you that you may know something to be “bad” or that you shouldn’t want it, but that does not mean that you don’t crave it, just ask Persephone! 😉
There are still a lot of suspenseful twists and turns in Summer Queen that you are not expecting. These two are pure opposites but help bring out qualities in the other that make them more balanced. All in all if you liked the first book or looking for a new dark romance with a spin series, I highly recommend checking out the King of Shadows series and Summer Queen. I can’t wait to see what happens next! 5 stars from me!
