Whoa, Lifeline is INTENSE and so freaking awesome! I went into it knowing that it was going to be a dark romance from the trigger warnings and man was the author not lying. While the story is intense with a quite a bit of ugly in it, it is also extremely emotional and beautiful. Words cannot describe how all over the place my emotions were while reading it, but man it was SO FREAKING GOOD. I connected instantly to both JJ and O’Brien. Their story isn’t a traditional love story, but the feelings and connection between the two of them are SO STRONG!
All in all if you like things a little more on the edgy and gritty side, this is 100% a book that you should read! While there were difficult parts to read, it was also an amazing story. I give it 5 outta 5 stars for sure!
