Why hello, Lucian, how are YOU doin?! I liked the first standalone in this world by Michelle Heard and was really looking forward to the next one. I’ll be honest, I don’t know which one that I liked better. I can tell you that I 100% fell for Lucian Cotroni though. This guy might be hard and tough and alpha and a bad@ss Mafia boss, but he was also so much MORE. And don’t get me started on Elena, I absolutely adored her and how strong she is!
All in all this book is DEFINITELY a Mafia book and isn’t for the faint of heart, but it was enjoyable and captivating and I absolutely loved it- 4.5 outta 5 stars from me! I cannot wait for the next book in this world and will definitely be on the lookout for it!
