The blurb totally hooked me and had me wanting to see exactly what was going on with this story.
Kami is being put through the ringer a bit. She found out through social media that her ex is getting married. Not only that, but they originally broke up because she was not “exciting” enough. Which, she had good reason for, and he was just too much of a stick in the mud to help her work past her issues.
So she finds out through social media that he is engaged (side note: she also finds out that some of her friends are major douches) and it is just the tipping point. She goes and gets a drink and meets up with Lennon, a sexy skydiver that works for the skydiving company that Kami keeps trying to use and jump with, but she always ends up chickening out.
Well Lennon sees her there and tries to lift her spirits and decides that she needs help. His help to be precise.
He comes up with the idea to be her fake boyfriend for a month before he leaves to go on a trip. During this time, he is not only going to pose as her boyfriend- but also he is going to show her being adventurous and posting it on social media. Because let’s be real, if you don’t share information online about you doing something, did you even really do it?
This is when the story starts getting good. I absolutely loved this read. It was a fun and lighthearted read with some serious hot scenes in it and a couple of serious twists that you did not see coming.
You should read this book, the characters and how real they seemed, plot, twists, romance, and all the above were great!
